Ring NHS 111 – and select the mental health option
There is a First Response Service (FRS) in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough which gives those in mental health crisis the opportunity to get access to help quickly, by calling NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option.
The new service allows patients or carers to speak to specially-trained mental health staff who can provide advice, support, and signposting to other services. The service is available 24/7, 365 days a year.
SHOUT
NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough has partnered with SHOUT to offer support to anyone in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who is in distress.
Launched on Monday 13 November, the new service allows people who are struggling with their mental health, and live, work or study in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to text the word HEAR to 85258 for free

Psychological Wellbeing Service
Help and support is available to you if you are aged 17 and over and suffering from mild to moderate depression and anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, post traumatic stress, health anxiety, panic, phobia or obsessive compulsive disorder. This can be accessed by self referral. Please use the link below for further information.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health
A new website has been launched to help children and young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough tackle mental health issues.
The website was designed with input from children and young people. Being a young person can be challenging – with exams, changes at school, changing relationships.
The site brings together good, reliable information on mental health and wellbeing.
The information on the site is relevant to everyone (children and young people, parents and carers, and other professionals).

Kooth offers emotional and mental health support for children and young people aged between 11 – 24 years and is available up to 10pm every day.
