Indiana Minien – Social Prescriber Link Worker

I came to England in 2003 from the beautiful island of Mauritius. I studied at the University of South Bank in London, and after completing my degree in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care, I spent 19 years working in the care industry. I could not have fitted in more perfectly in my new role as a Social Prescribing Link Worker at The Grove. This is the most rewarding job that I enjoy doing, and every day is challenge that’s worth the effort as the end result is leaving someone feeling safe and smiling again. I am also passionate about making a change and being a part of the amazing team at The Grove, and helping to shape our NHS values. I love spending time with my family, relaxing and doing the garden, travelling and nature walks. I also enjoy exploring food cultures with my friends.
