Dr Sondos Khedr

I qualified as a doctor in Egypt back in 2018 in a beautiful small coastal city called Ismailia. I initially worked as an emergency medicine resident before relocating to the UK in early 2020. Working in a hospital ward during the pandemic is the reason I chose to go into general practice and I have never looked back since! I enjoy the varied nature of being a GP and the chance to really to get to know my patients, something I never had a chance to do in ED. I am currently in my last year of training with a special interest in healthcare for older people and frailty and I look forward to my time at The Grove. Outside work I enjoy baking, sunny walks and gardening.
