We are delighted to welcome Chris Lanyon who joined our Team as our new Paramedic Practitioner in February 2024.
Chris works alongside our Duty Doctor and Advanced Care and Paramedic Practitioners as part of our Duty Team and supports patients with requests that may need help or support that day, or within the next few days.
Chris joined the East of England Ambulance Service in 2001 and has worked locally as a paramedic for much of his career, moving to a General Practice role in early 2023. Chris is currently studying Advanced Practice at the University of East Anglia and plans to progress to a prescribing course on completion. Chris has a professional interest in expedition and wilderness medicine which often leads him to the Canadian Arctic.
In his spare time Chris enjoys the river locally, and can often be found by his boat with his partner and their two dogs. Chris is also partial to an old Land Rover!
