From Tuesday 9 January 2024, the four practices that comprise St Ives Primary Care Network (Grove Medical Practice, Moat House Surgery in Warboys, Riverport Medical Practice which has sites in Fenstanton, Somersham and St Ives, and the Spinney Surgery in St Ives) will all be providing Enhanced Access appointments for the Primary Care Network patient populations of our practices. This is a change to the previous arrangement, where the majority of these appointments were offered through West Cambs Federation.
Enhanced Access appointments are additional appointments that usually take place in the evenings, early mornings or at the weekend. Patients will continue to be able to access these appointments by contacting their practice in the normal way. Enhanced Access appointments will continue to be provided by a range of medical professionals, including GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and others, depending on your need.
In some circumstances you may be asked to attend an Enhanced Access appointment at a practice other than Grove Medical Practice. If you are offered an appointment at a location other than Grove Medical Practice, then the colleague who arranges your appointment will let you know where you will be seen.
